Exchange Security Solution Scenario
John is a high level manager having many important meetings. His all-important Outlook calendar resides on the company's internal Exchange Server. Last minute, after hours changes are common. However, due to security reasons, he can't access his mailbox & calendar from outside. This has been causing serious scheduling issues and time lost. This solution brings the flexibility they need, but ensures highest security. Here's how.
Step 1
An important meeting update for John is received by the internal @company.com Exchange Server and then by the internal CB Exchange Server Sync.
Step 2
The gateway validator applies security rules, and only the information authorized to leave the internal network is moved to the external Connect Bridge Server and then to the external Exchange Server @company.com.
Step 3
John sees & responds to the calendar update on the external Exchange Server from his mobile phone, and the calendar item is updated on the external server
Step 4
CB Exchange Sync gets the updated calendar item from the external Connect Bridge and updates the internal Exchange Server. When John goes to the office the next day, he sees the changes in his internal mailbox.
