Dime.Scheduler is the graphical resource planning and scheduling tool of choice for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and CRM partners and users that are looking to integrate planning functionality into their business processes and vertical solutions

Connecting Software (CS): Patrick, could you please tell us something about yourself and your role within the company.

Patrick Hijs (PH): I’ve been involved in a wide variety of roles within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV environment for the BMW Group Belux/AG between 2001 and 2008. Three years ago, I started at Dime as a Business Development manager and thus I am responsible for the growth of our partner network.

CS: Patrick, can you describe your company in your own words; maybe something that we can’t find on Dime’s webpage?

PH: Dime has a special focus on the Microsoft Dynamics market as a distributor of top-class add-ons. Dime.Scheduler is one of our in-house developed solutions for which we count +60 resellers worldwide. Dime.Scheduler is a versatile and easy to integrate web-based resource planning tool with back office connectors for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and CRM. Moreover, Dime.Scheduler can be integrated with any ERP, CRM or LOB application that supports web services.

CS: Could you highlight a recent project of your company?

PH: Our business model implies that we work with resellers only. We have several projects running via our partner network in various industries (Field Service and Rental, Construction, Hospitality, Education, Gas & Oil, Transport, Rental of machinery, Automotive, Project planning, Contracting, House Building, On-shore Off Shore, IT, etc.)

CS: Why did you contact us? What was the main reason?

PH: We were at the point of implementing a bi-directional interface with MS-Exchange for the synchronization of appointments coming from Dime.Scheduler.

As we got a closer look into your product we noticed that it had all the required functionality we were looking for and we could easily integrate it with our solution.

CS: Why was Connecting Software attractive or appealing for your company?

PH: The ease of integration with Dime.Scheduler and the fact that all versions and platforms of Exchange Server are supported, including future versions.

CS: How would you characterize or describe the cooperation with Connecting Software?

PH: We have a very open and flexible partnership with Connecting Software as we expect from but also carry out to all our partners and distributors.

CS: For your company, what has been the most valuable part of the cooperation with Connecting Software?

PH: A stable and flexible product that is in line with our values and quality standards.
The answer is the most pleasing for Connecting Software as we strive to be a stable and flexible partner all the time.

CS: How do you perceive the future of cooperation between Connecting Software and Dime?

PH: With our partner network that is continuously growing (recently Dime started distribution centers in Germany, USA and Scandinavia) we are facing exponential growth worldwide. Therefore, we need trusted partners. We are also looking to expand our offering with other solutions from Connecting Software to our partner network.
