You can define structures using simple or advanced rules, including multi-level folder hierarchies, dynamically named libraries, specific sets of automatic folders, and conditional structures based on field values.

You can have a document library per letter or letter set, per period (year, quarter, month, week, day, or custom), per record, or any combination of these.

SharePoint Structure Creator supports SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server on-premises, and hybrid environments. Please note that you can distribute documents across multiple sites or multiple site collections with the right configuration.

Existing documents (pre-deployment) remain untouched and continue to function normally. Structure Creator focuses on generating and maintaining the folder or library structure going forward. New documents will follow the newly defined rules, ensuring that the SharePoint structure becomes consistent over time without disrupting any current content.

If you want those existing documents to also be structured according to the same rules that you will use in SharePoint Structure Creator, that can also be done by our team.

If using it as an add-on, you can activate and deactivate SharePoint Structure Creator at any time you like. This is a solution you’ll love, but not a solution you’ll get locked into.

When you deactivate SharePoint Structure Creator, the structure that was created during the period you had this add-on active is kept. It is just that new documents will no longer be put into the folders according to the rules you had defined. They will again go all to the same folder.
