C# and .NET Developer

The Role

Connecting Software is looking for a C# and .NET Developer. Could that be you?

Connecting Software is an Austrian-German company with nearly two decades on the market. Our headquarter is in Vienna (Austria), and we have offices in the U.S. and Europe. Altogether we are around 40 people from 12 different countries working for a global customer base. You would be working directly with colleagues in Malacky (Slovakia), and Madeira Island (Portugal).

For this position, we offer the possibility of working in our offices in Madeira, Portugal or Malacky, Slovakia. In any case you will get to work with an international motivated team.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the team on designing, implementing and maintaining new software features
  • Ensure the code quality by working closely with our Quality Assurance team and by creating automated tests
  • Provide customer support (support sessions, troubleshooting, trainings, and email support)
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles

Must have

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) - minimum C1 level
  • 2+ years of work experience with C# and .NET Core framework
  • 1+ year of work experience with SQL
  • 1+ year of work experience with Git or another version control system
  • Good communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding of OOD
  • At least 3 of the following:
    • 1+ year of work experience with Unit Testing
    • 1+ year of work experience with Microsoft Azure
    • 1+ year of work experience with Angular and Typescript
    • 1+ year of work experience with Entity Framework
    • 1+ year of work experience with ASP.NET (Web API, MVC), ASP.NET Core
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
