KTM-Sportmotorcycle AG is an Austrian Motorcycle manufacturer tracing its foundation to 1934. In addition, the company owns other motorcycle subsidiaries such as Husaberg or Husqvarna.
Being a large company, KTM uses multiple IT systems such as ERP, DMS, CMS, collaboration systems, Dynamics CRM, among others. KTM was faced with the problem of updating information between all these systems.
They decided to use Connecting Software’s CB Linked Server for Enterprise Applications. The software enables data operations directly from Microsoft SQL Server using simple SQL syntax.
KTM was in search of a deployment-friendly, reliable, and high-performance solution for their needs. They found CB Linked Server for Enterprise Applications to be the perfect match. It synchronizes all relevant data from a data warehouse, SQL database to Dynamics CRM with the benefit of maintaining all security standards and business rules.
KTM was quickly able to perform the integration process which now runs reliably.
CB Linked Server for Enterprise Applications
CB Linked Server is an integration solution based on the Connect Bridge platform. It allows you to:
- Get data from a business system, like Microsoft Dynamics 365, and write back to it if you need
- Put that data in SQL Server Management Studio and work with as you wish
In this case, CB Linked Server for Enterprise Applications enabled an integration project for getting data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM automatically. But there is much more you can do with it. This is a very powerful concept and it can meet any integration challenge.
